I need a councelling session for my mbbs college selection

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,

MBBS college selection can be confusing with so many choices and categories,  First, check your NEET score and All India Rank (AIR). Then, identify which category you belong to General, EWS, OBC, SC, or ST as that will influence your cut-off range. You’ll participate in All India Quota (AIQ) counselling via MCC and your state quota counselling through your state’s medical board. During the counselling process, you’ll need to lock in college choices, so you should explore previous year cut-offs for each college, the number of seats available, and location preferences. There are multiple counselling rounds including mop-up and stray vacancy, so even if you don’t get a seat in the first few rounds, don’t give up! Also, keep your documents ready like your NEET admit card, scorecard, 10th & 12th marksheets, caste/income certificates (if applicable), and photo ID.

Can i get addmision in Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam university of physiotherapy

SEJAL JAIN 24th Jul, 2025

Yes, you can get admission to the BPT course at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University if you meet the eligibility criteria of passing 10+2 with PCB and at least 40 percent marks for the SC category. With a 65 percentile in CET under the SC category, you have a fair chance, but admission depends on seat availability and cutoff trends during counselling.

It's advisable to check the university’s official website and apply through state-level counselling, while also considering multiple colleges to improve your chances.

I am a NEET student. I have done 12th in HSC. General category but got less than 50% in PCB so I gave physics improvement exam from NIOS. Now I have two mark sheets so I am applying for MBBS and NEET. Will you accept me in a government college? Please tell me if anyone has been accepted, please help

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hello, Shravani,

This is a very important and genuine question—thank you for asking. The good news is, yes, NIOS is recognized by MHRD, and as long as your improvement exam in Physics was done through NIOS and you now have two valid mark sheets, you’re eligible to apply for NEET counselling. According to NMC guidelines, a student must have passed individually in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% for General category 40% for SC/ST/OBC.

Since your PCB aggregate in HSC was below 50%, but you improved Physics via NIOS and now your overall percentage is valid colleges should accept your application. Just make sure you carry both your original HSC mark sheet and the NIOS improvement result during counselling. Also, keep your NEET score ready and participate in both All India and State counselling.

Hope you will find it helpful!

With a rank around 25,000, you may get a free government seat in B.Sc Agriculture if you belong to OBC/SC/ST category or female quota, and especially if you're from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. In general category, chances are lower in top govt colleges but possible in semi-government or aided institutes.

My svnirtar cet 2025 sc category rank is 123 will I get any college?

SEJAL JAIN 24th Jul, 2025

With an SC category rank of 123 in SVNIRTAR CET 2025, you have a very strong chance of getting admission into the BPT course at SVNIRTAR, as previous SC cutoffs have been much lower, often closing beyond rank 700. SVNIRTAR offers reserved seats for SC candidates, and your rank places you well within the likely selection range. Make sure to complete all counselling steps on time.

Is GDC samba has law course?is law course is available on samba gdc

SEJAL JAIN 24th Jul, 2025

No, Government Degree College (GDC) Samba does not offer any law courses like LLB or BA-LLB. It mainly provides undergraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce under the University of Jammu.

However, if you're interested in pursuing law in the Samba region, you can consider private colleges like Bhargava Law College or R.K. Law College, which are approved by the Bar Council of India and offer both 3-year and 5-year law programs.
