I have secured 88 percentile in CUET GAT and 77 percentile in English CUET. Kindly let me know which central University can I apply? Is there any chance of me getting an Integrated MA in the University of Hyderabad? Kindly guide me thru courses and cutoffs for central universities.

Chelsie G 15th Jul, 2025

Based on your CUET scores 88 percentile in GAT and 77 percentile in English you may have a moderate chance of securing admission into certain Integrated M.A. programs offered by Central Universities, depending on the course and category you belong to.

At the University of Hyderabad (UoH), Integrated M.A. courses are offered in Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology. For general category students, the previous year’s cutoffs were typically above 90 percentile in GAT and 85–90 percentile in English, especially for Economics and Political Science.

However, courses like Anthropology, History, or Sociology may have relatively lower cutoffs, and with your scores, you might be considered under waiting lists or in later counselling rounds. If you belong to a reserved category (OBC/SC/ST/EWS), your chances improve significantly.

You can also consider applying to other central universities that offer Integrated M.A. programs with slightly lower cutoff trends, such as:

  • Central University of Karnataka (CUK) – M.A. in English, Political Science, History

  • Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) – M.A. in Economics

  • Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow – Multiple humanities courses

  • Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar

  • Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) – M.A. in Development Studies, Economics, etc.

Make sure to review the previous year’s cutoffs and seat matrix of each university before applying.

Is there any management quota for B TECH AIL/ ML SUBJECT

Abhi sonkar 14th Jul, 2025

Hello

Yes, you can get admission through management quota in B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) programs. Many private engineering colleges in states like Karnataka and Telangana offer these seats under relaxed merit criteria—though for a premium fee.

Fees are high, ranging from 2–10 lakh per year depending on institution.

Be cautious: quality and curriculum for some AI/ML courses under management quota may differ significantly from standard CSE programs.

Some government bodies have paused standardized counselling for these seats; admissions may be arranged directly with colleges.

If I have got a seat in the all india counselling then can I block that and appear for state as well

Chelsie G 14th Jul, 2025

Yes, you can participate in both All India Quota (AIQ) counselling and State Quota counselling simultaneously. If you are allotted a seat in AIQ counselling, you can choose to either accept (report to the college) or hold the seat while participating in your state counselling.

However, if you join a college under AIQ (by reporting physically or uploading documents online) and later get a better seat in state counselling, you will need to resign from the AIQ seat before the deadline to avoid losing your security deposit or being blocked from further rounds.

Always ensure you follow the reporting deadlines and withdrawal rules carefully in both AIQ and state counselling to avoid seat forfeiture or disqualification.

i have around 7.5k rank should i choose kcgmc or pgims because kcgmc is in my hometown

Ayush Madanpotra 14th Jul, 2025

With a rank around 7500, you may have a chance to get both PGIMS Rohtak and KCGMC Karnal depending on your category, state quota, and counselling round.

PGIMS Rohtak is considered one of the top government medical colleges in Haryana. It has better hospital infrastructure, experienced faculty, patient load, and academic exposure. It also offers more PG opportunities within the same campus after MBBS. However, competition is tougher and the environment is more intense.

KCGMC Karnal is a newer college but still government-run and developing steadily. Since it is in your hometown, you will save on hostel, travel, and living costs. Also, emotional comfort and family support may help you during stressful MBBS years. KCGMC has decent academics and clinical exposure, especially in later years.

So if you want the best medical exposure and don’t mind relocating, PGIMS is a better academic choice.
But if you prefer staying near family, comfort, and saving expenses, KCGMC is a very good option too.

Final tip: If you get PGIMS in Round 1, you can take it and try for upgradation in later rounds or choose to freeze it. But both colleges will give you a solid MBBS experience.

I got 27222 rank in ap eamcet bipc stream Im from bc-d can I get free seat in pharm d

Ayush Madanpotra 14th Jul, 2025

With 27,222 rank in AP EAPCET BIPC stream and BC-D category, you have a good chance to get a free (convener quota) seat in Pharm.D in Andhra Pradesh.

Last year, students with ranks up to 85,000 also got Pharm.D seats in colleges like Andhra University. Since your rank is better than that, and you also belong to the BC-D category, your chances are high to get a seat in a government or private college under state quota.

You should take part in AP EAPCET counselling, choose Pharm.D as your first option, and give priority to government and reputed colleges. If Pharm.D is not available, you can also keep B.Pharm as a backup choice.

My neet score 358 Air 297172 My telangana eamcet rank 9128 Im interested in veterinary course Where can I get admission

Ayush Madanpotra 14th Jul, 2025

With your NEET score of 358 and AIR 2,97,172, you will not be able to get a seat in government veterinary colleges through the all India quota. The cut off for government veterinary colleges under all India quota is usually below 75,000 rank.

In Telangana, veterinary admissions are also based on NEET scores, not on EAMCET rank. So your EAMCET rank of 9,128 will not be considered for veterinary seats. And even under Telangana state quota, the cut off ranks are usually under 80,000. So it will be difficult to get a seat in a government veterinary college with your NEET rank.

However, private veterinary colleges may accept students with NEET scores between 250 and 400, especially under OBC quota or management seats. So you still have a chance to get admission in a private or self-financed veterinary college in Telangana or nearby states.

You should apply to private veterinary colleges and also keep options open for related courses like B.Sc Animal Science, Agriculture, or Allied Health Sciences.

I got 21 k rank in APEAMCET can I get a seat in SRM AP for CSE with OC

Chelsie G 14th Jul, 2025

With an AP EAMCET rank of 21,000 in the OC category, it is highly unlikely to get a CSE seat at SRM University AP. In previous years, the closing rank for CSE at SRM AP was generally below 4,000 for open category candidates. You may consider applying for other branches or explore CSE in mid-tier private colleges where the cutoff extends beyond 20,000.
