Hello Khushi,
Acharya Narendra College, which is part of the University of Delhi, follows the official DU admission process and does not generally offer direct admission without going through the merit-based or entrance-based system (depending on the course). For most undergraduate programs, admission is based on your Class 12 marks and cut-off lists released by DU. You need to register on the DU admission portal, select Acharya Narendra College as one of your preferences, and if your marks meet the cut-off for your desired course, you can proceed with admission. There is no management quota or donation-based seat system in DU colleges, so “direct admission” is not possible in the usual sense. If you missed the main rounds, you can look for special drive admissions or spot rounds conducted by the university when seats remain vacant.

So between PES modern college of engineering and JSPM Wagholi The PES modern college is better because it has well equipped labs , experienced faculty and good infrastructure. Along with that their placement cell is also very good. Top recruiters like HSBC, Cognizant, Bosch, and Amazon come here every year offering an average placement of around 70 percent.
While JSPM is also good it also has good infrastructure, modern labs and huge campus. The placement percentage is around 50-55 percent.

If your family income is less than 1 lakh, you may be eligible for a 100 percent tuition fee waiver at SMVDU under the Student Merit cum Means Scholarship Scheme. This scheme supports students from economically weaker backgrounds and also considers academic performance. The waiver typically applies to tuition fees for the first few semesters, and in some cases, partial hostel fee waivers are provided. Eligibility depends on your family income, merit, and program, so it’s important to check the official SMVDU admission brochure or website for detailed guidelines.
