If you scored 156 marks in NEET and you are from the general category, then you are not eligible for BAMS admission. The minimum marks needed to qualify for BAMS is around 162 or more, which is 50th percentile for general category.

Even in private BAMS colleges, the cut-off is usually higher than 156. So with this score, you will not get admission in any private BAMS college.

There are about 156 private BAMS colleges in India, but all of them require NEET-qualified students. If you want to join BAMS, it’s better to prepare again and try to score higher next time.

The TS ( TG ) POLYCET 2025 Phase 1 seat allotment was officially released on July 4 , 2025 and candidates can now check their allotment status on the counselling portal by logging in with their hall ticket number , password , DOB , and ROC form number .
