If you scored 156 marks in NEET and you are from the general category, then you are not eligible for BAMS admission. The minimum marks needed to qualify for BAMS is around 162 or more, which is 50th percentile for general category.
Even in private BAMS colleges, the cut-off is usually higher than 156. So with this score, you will not get admission in any private BAMS college.
There are about 156 private BAMS colleges in India, but all of them require NEET-qualified students. If you want to join BAMS, it’s better to prepare again and try to score higher next time.

Hello Aspirant,
It depends on what you want. KITS (Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science) or NEC (National Engineering College); both are reputed institutions. KITS is most recognized for its studious academic culture and industry connections in Telangana while NEC has a better performance record in research and student placements in Tamil Nadu. It is most appropriate to weigh factors like faculty, placement records, infrastructure, and course listings off your personal objectives.
Yes, you are likely going to get a seat in a good government nursing college in Kurnool, with a rank of 5949 in AP EAMCET 2025 under the category of BC-E (Female) and SVU region, such as:
The cut-offs will be different, on average, every year, but assuming that the previous trends will be the guide to cut-offs and also your category preference, I think there is a good chance for you in the counselling rounds, especially in the first or second round, if you made a note of doing the counselling, in which case make Kurnool your first choice or apply to it as one of the first preferences.
If you are in the SC category, with 58 percentile in MHT CET, you have a decent chance of converting admission to AIDS (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) at PCCOE (Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering) or other same tier institutes in Pune.
Make sure you are checking the official DTE Maharashtra portal and last year's SC category cutoffs for support. Refer here for more information: PCCOE Cutoff
