can i get government BDS college with score of 308 in neet 2025 in sc category

Ayush Madanpotra 6th Jul, 2025

With 308 marks in NEET 2025 and SC category, it is very difficult to get a seat in a government BDS college. Usually, SC category students need around 380 to 430 marks to get BDS in a government college.

But still, if the cut-off goes down this year or some seats remain vacant, you may have a very small chance in the mop-up or stray vacancy rounds.

You can get admission in private BDS colleges with 308 marks, especially under SC quota. Many private colleges accept students with lower scores.

You should take part in all counselling rounds. You can also think about doing B.Sc. in allied health sciences or other medical-related courses, or try NEET again next year for a better score.

You can check official BDS cut-off details here:

what government college can i get through bcece PCB stream ur rank 6183 and ews rank 835

Ayush Madanpotra 6th Jul, 2025

With a BCECE PCB rank of 6183 and EWS rank of 835, you have a good chance to get admission in government colleges in Bihar for courses like B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharmacy, Medical Lab Technology, and Biotechnology.

In previous years, EWS and general category cutoffs for these courses were usually between 3000 to 7000 ranks. Your rank fits well in that range, especially for EWS category.

So yes, you can get a seat in government colleges through BCECE 2025 counselling, depending on your preferred course and seat availability in each round.

I got Overall rank 394 and general category rank 296 in duvasu mathura college can I get admitted in any course at free seat

gopi 6th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

With a comprehensive rank of 394 and a specific rank of 296 in DUVASU Mathura in the general category, your eligibility for a free (merit) seat will depend on the specific course cutoffs in the current admission cycle. Course specific cutoffs can differ - for example, the general category cutoff for B.V.Sc. & A.H. is usually much lower (top 100-150). However, you do have a legitimate chance to obtain a merit seat in less popular courses like B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotech or Industrial Microbiology. Make sure you monitor the official counselling announcement and seat allotment rounds.

Hello sir I took cuet and I scored low what should I do

Ayush Madanpotra 6th Jul, 2025

Hello. If you got a low score in CUET, don’t worry. You still have many options.

You can apply to colleges that have low CUET cut-offs. Some state and private universities accept students with low scores. You just need to find the right college.

You can also look for private colleges that offer admission through management quota. These colleges do not focus only on CUET scores, but the fees may be a bit higher.

Some private universities also give admission directly based on your 12th marks or their own entrance test. You can check those too.

Another option is to join a diploma or skill-based course in fields like IT, healthcare, design, or media. Later, you can move to a degree course.

If you are very serious about a dream college or course, and your family agrees, you can take a gap year, prepare again, and try to score better next time.

You don’t need to panic. Many students build successful careers even after scoring low in entrance exams.

Hello. I wish to appear for the CAT exam this year but I have a below average past academic record. I scored 86 percent in 10th, 62 percent in 12th and 70 percent in graduation. Would I be eligible for the top IIMs if I score a high percentile in CAT?

Yash Teotia 6th Jul, 2025

Hello Anshuman!!!
You have gotten 86% in 10th, which is a good score. 70% in graduation is not the best but decent. But the main problem is your 12th score which is 62%.

You would be already aware that the Top IIMs (BLACKI) give a big emphasis on your academic score. Let me tell you one example of IIM Ahmedabad,
According to a research i read a few days ago, in IIM Ahmedabad, 70.8% of students has 90+ percent in 12th, 25.8% has 80-90 percent and around 3.8% has less than 80% with the bracket of 60-69 having only 0.26% students of the total batch. Nearly same is the case of the other top IIMs like IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore.

Statistically, getting into these TOP IIMs is possible with 62% in 12th is possible (0.26% has done it) but practically you cannot get into these TOP IIMs unless you top the CAT exam.

See, I don't wish to dishearten or demotivate you but I wish to tell you the truth. Although the probability of you getting into these TOP IIMs is very less, but trying is better than doing nothing. You have a good score in 10th which will certainly help you. The least you could do is try your best.

My advice would be that you should not focus on these things like "Will I get top IIM" or negative talk like " I got low marks I won't qualify" etc. The main focus should be on your preparation. Give 100% in your preparation because that's the only thing in your hand. You can't change your 10th/12th/Graduation scores but you can put some more effort in your preparation which would certainly help to get better percentile.

Keep working hard and give your best. You might surprise yourself!!! And if not BLACKI, there are many other good colleges like FMS, MDI, newer IIMs etc.

i am scoring 433/750 ews can i get any college in South campus of du for bsc Hons in botany

Ayush Madanpotra 6th Jul, 2025

If you are scoring 433 out of 750 in CUET and you belong to the EWS category, it will be very difficult to get admission in B.Sc. (Hons) Botany in any of the South Campus colleges of Delhi University.

Most South Campus colleges like ARSD, Deshbandhu, and others had CUET cutoffs above 470 marks for Botany in the EWS category last year. Some even had cutoffs close to 500 or more.

Since your score is 433, it is below the usual cutoff range. So, getting a seat in Round 1 is unlikely. You might still have a small chance in the later rounds or in less popular colleges, but it is not guaranteed.

You can look at off-campus DU colleges or apply for general B.Sc. programmes which have lower cutoffs than honours courses.

Hello..my rank is 56k can get seat IT or AIML in LBRCE my caste is BC-b male

Ayush Madanpotra 6th Jul, 2025

Yes, with a rank of 56,000 in AP EAMCET and BC-B male category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in IT (Information Technology) or AI & ML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at LBRCE (Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering).

In previous years, students with ranks even beyond 80,000 in BC-B category were able to get admission in these branches at LBRCE. So your rank is well within the safe range.

Still, exact seat allotment depends on the number of applications, preference order, and counselling round. You should participate in all counselling rounds and fill LBRCE as one of your top choices.

can i get a seat in BAMS with 375 marks

Ayush Madanpotra 6th Jul, 2025

With 375 marks in NEET 2025, you have a strong chance of getting admission to BAMS in private colleges, especially under reserved categories like OBC, SC, ST, or EWS. Many private Ayurvedic colleges accept students with scores between 350 and 400.

However, it's very unlikely you'll get a seat in a government BAMS college, as their cutoffs usually range from 450 to 520 marks or higher, depending on your category.
