Hi Sirjana,
I appreciate how clear you’ve been. Yes, you can still apply for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering after passing 10th you don’t necessarily need to pass 12th for polytechnic diploma courses. Since you’re considering management quota, colleges may have some flexibility with deadlines. I'd recommend visiting nearby private polytechnic colleges directly or checking their websites most colleges keep a management quota admission window open longer than government counseling
Yes ,it is possible to get admission through mangement quota for mechanical engineering. Most diploma courses require only 10th pass as a basic eligibility.if you want to to join through mangement quota, you have to contact with private college or polytechnic institute that offer mechanical engineering diploma, but fees under mangement quota are usually high. Addmissions are still open for diploma course, addmission process is going on till August end.
If you're preparing for the Punjab University (PU) BA LLB entrance exam. The exam generally has four main sections — General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, English Language, and Logical Reasoning. The paper is of 100 marks with objective-type questions. It’s a mix of static GK like history, polity, geography and current events, legal terms, simple grammar and comprehension, and logical puzzles. I’d recommend practicing past year papers too they give you a good grip on what kind of questions are likely to come.

Geo-informatics is one of those underrated fields that’s quietly powering a lot of industries from disaster management to agriculture, defense to smart cities. If you're wondering why someone studies it, the main purpose is to learn how to collect, analyze, and visualize geographic data using tools like GIS (Geographic Information System), Remote Sensing, and GPS. This tech helps in planning cities, tracking natural disasters, monitoring climate change, and even in mapping for military use. It’s a blend of geography, computer science, and data a powerful combo if you're into real-world problem solving.

Hii,
With a NEET score of 367, being from the SC category and also having a defense quota definitely gives you a better chance. In Punjab, the cutoff for SC category tends to be lower and when combined with the defense quota, your odds improve. Last year, some govt MBBS colleges in Punjab did offer seats in the 360–370 range under SC+quota, especially in second or mop-up rounds. But it also depends on competition this year. I’d suggest you participate in counseling and also apply for central quotas through AIQ (15%) and state quota (85%) to maximize your chances.
