SEJAL JAIN 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello

Chapter 1: Rational Numbers in English (Class 8 Math):

Rational numbers are numbers that can be written in the form p/q, where q ≠ 0.

They follow important properties like closure, commutative, and associative laws.

We can perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (except by 0) on rational numbers.

Each rational number has an additive inverse and a multiplicative inverse (except 0).

Rational numbers can be represented on a number line and simplified to their standard form.

I have GMR of 72979 in wbjee how many good colleges can I get at this rank if I am non domicile student with best branches

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 23rd Aug, 2025

With a GMR of ~72,979 in WBJEE 2025 as a non-domicile student, your chances in top-tier government engineering colleges (like Jadavpur University, IEM, UEM, or Heritage) are unfortunately very low, as their cutoffs usually close below 15k–25k. At your rank, you’ll mostly find opportunities in private/self-financed colleges under WBJEE in the last few rounds.

You may get branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or sometimes ECE in mid/low-tier private colleges, but CSE/IT/AI/DS in reputed institutes is not possible at this rank. If you’re flexible, you can still secure a seat in colleges such as Brainware, Narula, JIS, Camellia, Swami Vivekananda, etc.

Thanks for reaching out!

In Tamil Nadu, for OBC category, MD Anaesthesia in government medical colleges usually closes within 25k–35k rank in NEET PG. With a better rank than this range, you stand a chance.

I gave neet 2025 and score 509 and 42k rank . This is my 3rd drop . Now I have to choose any course , so which is good for me in BAMS or BVsc . Which has more carrier scopes in future and good salary .

Nikita shahi 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello aspirant,

With 509 marks and 42k rank, you are in a decent position:

  • You can definitely get BDS in government colleges.
  • For MBBS, chances are good in semi-government/low-fee private colleges under state quota (especially if you belong to OBC/SC/ST).
  • For BAMS, BHMS, or other AYUSH courses, you can easily get a government seat.

Since this is your 3rd drop, the practical choice is to go with state counselling.

You can predict your college with this tool: College predictor careers 360

Thank you:

In the personal detail of ibps clerk they are showing my full name .I dont even fill the last name but they are showing it.and in all other documents there is only my first name .I again fill the registration form but they are showing the same issue.

SEJAL JAIN 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello

You didn’t enter your last name, but the system is still showing your full name with a last name.

This may be due to auto-fill or system default based on previous data or your ID proof. If all your official documents have only your first name, this mismatch could cause problems later. Even after re-registering, the issue remains indicating it's a system-level problem. You should immediately email the IBPS helpdesk with your registration number and valid ID proof to get it corrected.

I am currently pursuing technical course from Raipur so will I be able to get admission in GEC in second year?

Devanshi Goyal 23rd Aug, 2025

HELLO,

Yes you may be able to get admission in Government Engineering College (GEC) in the second year through the lateral entry scheme but it depends on the certain conditions :-

1.Eligibility:-

  • You must have completed a Diploma in Engineering/Polytechnic for atleast 3 years or hold a Bsc degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • Minimum percentage criteria usually as generally 45-50% for general category and relaxation for reserved categories

How you can apply :-

1.In Chhattisgarh admissions to second year for lateral entry are done through state level counselling conducted by DTE Raipur

2.You need to apply for the counselling process when the notification is released and select GEC as your preferred college

3.Kindly check the number of seats before applying because your admission also depends on the number of seats available in the second year under lateral entry quota

4.Branch Change may or may not be allowed depending on the seat availability

5.If you are currently in a Diploma course in Raipur then you will be eligible after completing it

So if you are doing a diploma in Engineering then you can definitely apply for lateral entry to GEC in 2nd year through counselling

Hope this Helps!

I am currently pursuing technical course from Raipur so will I be able to get admission in GEC in second year?

Ankur Mehta 23rd Aug, 2025

Hey Abhi! Since you are currently pursuing a technical course in Raipur, yes, you may be eligible for second-year (lateral entry) admission in GEC Raipur, but there are certain conditions. First, you must have completed a 3-year diploma in a relevant engineering stream with at least 50% marks. If you have a B.Sc. degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, you may also be eligible. Admission is usually based on entrance exams like CG PET or JEE Main, followed by counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh. Keep in mind, seats are limited, and priority is often given to Chhattisgarh domicile students. My suggestion is to check the official GEC Raipur website regularly, confirm your eligibility, and start preparing for the required entrance test. If you plan carefully and meet all requirements, you can definitely aim for lateral entry in second year. Stay focused and good luck!

Babita Rawat 23rd Aug, 2025

Hii

Yes, you can get admission in Government Engineering College of Raipur in second year, but it depends on:
- Your course type: If you are pursuing Diploma in Engineering from a notable institute then you are eligible for admission in 2nd year B.Tech through CG PET counselling. But if you are pursuing another type of technical course then you won't be eligible for admission.

- Eligibility criteria: You should have your 1st year marksheet and other necessary documents to apply for seat.

- Admission process: Admission is done through CG PET counselling conducted by DTE Raipur.

I am currently pursuing technical course from Raipur so will I be able to get admission in GEC in second year?

SEJAL JAIN 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello

If you are doing a 3-year diploma in a technical course from a recognized institute, you can apply for lateral entry to the 2nd year at GEC. Admission is usually through a lateral entry exam or state counselling. Your diploma should be relevant and approved by the authorities. Being from Raipur, and if you are a Chhattisgarh domicile, it helps your chances. Check with the specific GEC and state admission rules for exact eligibility.
