What was the cut off for PWD category in neet ug in recent years like 2022 23 24 and this year also, for the jammu and kashmir students?

OISHEE BANERJEE 5th Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,
For NEET-UG, the minimum qualifying percentile for PwD candidates is 45% for General-PwD and 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-PwD, which corresponds to approximately 127–143 marks in 2022–24 and around 126–143 in 2025. For Jammu & Kashmir state quota, MBBS seats for MBBS among PwD candidates (e.g., ST-PwD) have historically closed in the same lower percentile zone as other reserved categories—around 93–127 marks in 2022 and similar in later years.

In terms of seat allotment, PwD candidates within J&K state quota typically require NEET marks in the 110–140 range to secure a seat in MBBS, with slight variation depending on the number of applicants and available seats in a given year. For 2025, expect the cutoff to remain in that same 110–140 mark bracket for state quota PwD seats.

good btech colleges in lucknow giving proirity to mechanical branch for 2 lakh 25 thousand jee rank

OISHEE BANERJEE 1st Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,
With a JEE Main rank around 225,000, you are well-positioned to secure admission to Mechanical Engineering in reputable government-aided and private colleges in Lucknow under AKTU (formerly UPTU). For example, IET Lucknow, a top government college, typically fills its Mechanical seats up to around 68,000–75,000 in early rounds and extends to about 75,000 to 90,000 in later rounds. Since you're beyond that range, IET may not be feasible.

However, University of Lucknow (LU) via UPTAC often opens Mechanical at ranks up to 225,000 to 270,000 in the final round, and your rank should comfortably get you in there. Private AKTU-affiliated colleges in Lucknow like LIT, SRMCEM, BIET, RRGI, GITM, etc., tend to close Mechanical seats at ranks between 600,000 and 1.4 million, making them viable with your rank.

So your best options are Mechanical Engineering at University of Lucknow through state counselling, or picking core branches in mid-tier private AKTU-aligned colleges.

I have secured 24 category rank Will I be able to secure a seat in DUVASU fir a Diploma as an OBC

Pradeepa P 2nd Jul, 2025

With an OBC category rank of 24 in the Diploma Entrance Exam (DEE), you stand a very strong chance of securing admission for a diploma programme at DUVASU (Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences), Mathura .

The university generally fills diploma seats based on DEE merit and category, and your high position means you're likely to qualify. Provided you meet all other eligibility criteria, such as 50 percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, you will almost certainly receive a seat during counselling.

I have got mechanical engineering at PMEC, Berhampur.. .. Should i go for it?

Rahul Mandal 10th Jul, 2025

First, congratulations on your offer at PMEC. PMEC is a great choice if you are interested in core engineering and want a government/PSU job letter. PMEC is a government-backed college and also very affordable. But like every college, it also has some drawbacks, like if you want a CS/IT-based career, you shouldn't choose this college because your branch and college don't provide you much exposure. But if you don't have any problem with this drawback, you can choose it without any hesitation.

I got 67k in eamcet so mallareddy college can give free seat Im bce muslim minority

Pradeepa P 1st Jul, 2025

Yes , based on the 2024 TS EAMCET closing ranks, Malla Reddy College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, offered BC-E category candidates seats in popular branches like Cyber Security, Data Science, ECE, and CSE for ranks ranging between 33,000 and 62,000 in Round 1.

You are advised to attend the TS EAMCET counselling under the BC-E Muslim minority category.

Select Malla Reddy College as one of your preferences, especially for branches like ECE, EEE, and Mechanical, which had closing ranks above 90,000 and even up to 114,000 for BC-E category students.

Opt for multiple branches to increase your chances of securing a seat.

Also, ensure you check your eligibility for fee reimbursement, as BC-E minority students are generally eligible for full tuition fee waivers with valid documentation.

Can a 21 years old girl with 43% in 2nd puc External get admission in your collage for regular BA? If not thrn please tell me external BA option in english medium

OISHEE BANERJEE 2nd Jul, 2025

A 21-year-old girl with 43% in 2nd PUC (External) may not be eligible for admission to a regular BA program in most government or top private colleges, as they often require at least 50% marks. However, you still have a good chance to pursue a BA through external or distance education programs offered by open universities. Institutions like Karnataka State Open University, IGNOU, and Bangalore University’s distance education wing accept students with lower marks and offer BA courses in English medium. These programs are flexible, recognized, and designed for learners who want to study without attending regular college. You can complete your degree while studying from home and attending exams as per the university schedule.
