Neet 2025 physiotherapy cutoff for ews

harsh singh 25th Jun, 2025

The NEET 2025 qualifying cutoff for EWS candidates is between 686–144 marks (50th percentile) .

For BPT admission, although specific college cutoffs vary, the minimum qualifying marks for EWS remain the same range. Each college/state may have its own closing marks, usually slightly above the qualifying threshold for government vs private seats.

I scored 421 in NEET 2025, and got an EWS ranking of 20,771. I am of Bihar domicile, can I get bihar mbbs college as an EWS, Female, and Bihar domicile candidate under Bihar quota not All India quota

SHUBHANGI SINHA 25th Jun, 2025

Hello,

It is unlikely that you will be accepted into a Bihar Government Medical College under the state quota(85%) through the Bihar combined entrance competitive examination board counselling if you have a need to 2025 score of 421 and EWS rank of 20771. This is specially true in the first round, as the EWS category is expected to have higher cutoff ranks. However, if there are still openings or if you are open to considering private medical colleges, you may have a shot in later rounds.

What you should do:

  • Use the BCECE board to register for Bihar UGMAC counselling.
  • Take part in every round, including the mop - up

harsh singh 25th Jun, 2025

Yes, with a 2600 rank in SRMJEEE Phase 2, you have a very strong chance of getting CSE Core at SRM Ramapuram. Previous years' cutoffs for CSE at Ramapuram have gone up to 65,000+, so your rank is well within the safe zone. Just make sure to fill it as a top choice during counselling and complete the admission process on time.
