can i get scholarship for mbbs with 141 neet scores and cn i get seat in mbbs in india

Abhi sonkar 28th Jun, 2025

Good afternoon

Unlikely for MBBS, even via management quota:

Private MBBS seats generally require 300–400+ marks some may go as low as 150–250 marks in management quotas  .

At 141 marks, you're below even those relaxed cut-offs, and likely won't be eligible for MBBS.

On other hand you will get scholarship even while studying in private medical college but you have to match their criteria

Family Income

If your annual family income is below  2.5–8 lakh, you can apply for need-based or merit-cum-means scholarships.

2. Category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Minority)

Many government scholarships are available under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme.

3. College Recognition

The private medical college must be recognized by MCI/NMC and listed under approved institutions on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

4. NEET Score

Some scholarships do not depend on NEET score, but if you scored 400+ it can help with merit-based scholarships.

215 marks in neet 2025 under obc category applying for bds government seat.

Abhi sonkar 28th Jun, 2025

Good afternoon

With a NEET score of 215 and OBC category, here’s an honest analysis of your chances for BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) admission in a government college:

1. All India Quota (15%)

Highly unlikely to get BDS in government dental colleges through AIQ.

Last year’s OBC cutoff for BDS (govt) under AIQ was around 440–470 marks.

You are well below the cutoff.

2. State Quota (85%)

Some states have lower cutoffs for reserved categories in BDS.

With OBC category, you might have a very slim chance in certain states (like Bihar, MP, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal) only in the last rounds, and only if vacant seats remain.

I got 370 marks in neet 2025 my category is BCD can I get mbbs seat in any private colleges

OISHEE BANERJEE 30th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,
With 370 marks in NEET and BCD category, getting a government MBBS seat is unlikely, but you do have fair chances in private medical colleges, especially under the management quota or category-B seats. Many private colleges in states like Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh have cutoffs in the range of 350–400 for MBBS under management quota.

You should participate in state counselling (especially Telangana if you're from there) and also register for Deemed University counselling through MCC, where private seats are available at slightly higher fees. If you're open to higher tuition fees, your chances are good in the later rounds or mop-up rounds
