My Visit to the Mahakumbh Mela Last month, I got a chance to visit the Mahakumbh Mela with my family. It was held in Prayagraj, where the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswathi meet. I was very excited because I had only heard stories about it before. When we reached, I saw lakhs of people from different parts of the country. There were saints, sadhus, and even foreign tourists. The smell of incense, the sound of bhajans, and the sight of colourful tents made the place feel magical. We woke up early in the morning to take a dip in the holy river. It was cold, but I felt very peaceful after the bath. We also visited many stalls and saw people selling books, food, clothes, and spiritual items. There were big pandals where spiritual talks and prayers were going on. We even saw Naga sadhus with ash all over their bodies. I was amazed by their devotion. It was a very special day for me. I learnt about faith, unity, and our Indian culture. I will always remember this trip to the Mahakumbh Mela.
