However, cutoffs are not fixed and change every year based on a number of factors like available seats, number of candidates applied and category-wise distributions. So keep your horizon open and also consider backup branches.

In a normal government degree college, the 1st semester fee for general category students is around  may be 2000 rupee. This includes admission, registration, exam, and lab fees. The exact amount may vary slightly. SC/ST or girl students often get some fee relaxation .
