Yes, you can apply for the 3-year LLB course in Andhra Pradesh, provided you have a bachelor's degree and clear the AP LAWCET exam, which is the common entrance exam for the law course in this state.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hey! Your EAPCET rank of 23844 with an OBC category does give you a fair chance of getting admission in NIMS, but it also depends on a few factors. Firstly, cut-offs change every year depending on the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and total available seats. Usually, for OBC candidates, the cut-off is slightly relaxed compared to the general category. With your rank, you might not get into the most in-demand courses, but you can still secure a seat in some streams depending on the counseling rounds. Another important factor is whether you are opting for CSE/IT (which usually close at lower ranks) or other branches like ECE, Mechanical, Civil, or newer branches that generally have higher closing ranks. If you are flexible with branch selection, your chances are higher. I would strongly suggest you keep NIMS as one of your preferences during counseling, but also fill choices in other colleges with similar standards to be on the safer side. Stay updated with last year’s cut-off trends and make a wide range of options to maximize your chances.
The application dates for MBA (Law) 2026–28 batch are not announced yet.
Since you are appearing for NMAT, you can expect the forms to be released around the time of NMAT registrations , which usually begin in August. Most likely, the applications will open by August or September 2025.
You should keep checking the official admission website of the college for exact updates.
