Carrer I want direct govt or Central job No written exam

Rahul Mandal 22nd Jul, 2025

Hello,

It's very difficult, or you can say impossible, to get a direct government or central government job without a written exam. But if you can obtain a government or central government job without a written exam through the sports and cultural quota, the railways offer this type of quota. If you excel in sports or cultural fields, you can get the job without an exam.

If i got the first allotment but i want to participate in the second allotment but i did not get any seat in the second allotment, can l get admission in the first allotted college. Will my seat be secured??

Chelsie G 23rd Jul, 2025

Yes, if you got a seat in the first allotment and chose to participate in the second round without cancelling your first seat, then your first allotment remains safe even if you don’t get a seat in the second round.

But if you cancelled or surrendered your first allotment while entering choices for the second round, and then didn’t get any new seat, you will lose the first seat and won’t have any allotment.

So, it depends on whether you kept the first seat while trying for a better one or not. If you didn’t cancel it, your seat is secure.

My name is recorded as A K Anthony in my SSLC certificate, but in my Aadhar card, the initials are expanded to Aracaparambil Kurien Anthony. Will this cause any issues when presenting my Aadhar card at the RRB exam center, where my application form shows A K Anthony as per my SSLC?

Simran Vohra 22nd Jul, 2025

Yes this mismatch between the name on your SSLC certificate A K Anthony and the expanded name on your Aadhaar card Aracaparambil Kurien Anthony can cause a problem during your document verification.

To avoid this problem you can carry a notarized affidavit with you showing that both names are of same person. You can also bring your PAN card or voter ID if your application matches that name.

DO WE HAVE TO PAY SECURITY DEPSOIT RS.2 LAKHS SEPARATELY FOR AIQ AND STATE COUNSELLING FOR PRIVATE AND DEEMED COLLEGE

Chelsie G 23rd Jul, 2025

Yes, you have to pay the 2 lakh security deposit separately for AIQ counselling (for deemed universities) and again for state counselling (if the state requires it). These are two different counselling authorities, so their processes and payments are handled separately.

For example, if you're applying through MCC for deemed universities, you’ll pay 2 lakh there. If you’re also applying for private colleges through a state counselling like Maharashtra or Tamil Nadu, that state might also ask for its own security deposit. So yes, you might end up paying both.

I cleared my ppmet exam I had 42 percentile in reserve category can I still eligible for govt clg?? Or not

Taabia Fathima 22nd Jul, 2025

Hey Harshita,

Thanks for reaching out!

With a 42 percentile in PPMET2025 under a reserved category, chances of getting into a govt college in Punjab are low , as government colleges require usually higher percentiles even for reserved categories, however, you may still be eligible for management quota seats in private colleges.

It's best to participate in the counselling process as cut-off scores can vary each year depending on seat availability and competition.

My score is 301/750 in cuet ug 2025 and i am from obc category. Is there any of getting maitreyi college till last round of counseling?

Abhi sonkar 22nd Jul, 2025

good afternoon ,With 301/750 in the OBC category, admission to Maitreyi College may be challenging for most popular undergraduate programs, especially in the Honours streams.

previous Cutoff Comparison for OBC Category (CUET 2024)

Course    OBC Cutoff (CUET 2024)

B.A. (Hons.) Political Science    685–695

B.A. (Hons.) History    685–695

B.A. (Hons.) English    685–695

B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology    716

B.Com (Hons.)    724

B.Sc. Physical Science    678

Your score of 301 is significantly below these cutoff

I suggest you Explore less competitive DU colleges: Some colleges may have lower cutoffs for BA Program or vocational courses.

Consider alternate universities: Look into state universities or private institutions that accept CUET but have more flexible criteria.

Apply through CSAS portal: You can still fill in preferences and hope for spot rounds or special drives.

Chelsie G 23rd Jul, 2025

Yes, you can submit your income certificate during the second phase of counselling. If you missed verifying it in the first phase, you’ll get another chance in the second phase document verification process. Just make sure the income certificate is valid and updated as per the required date. Carry all original documents along with a set of photocopies when you go for the verification in the second phase.
