With an All India Rank of 26,000, it will be very difficult to secure a government seat in Telangana because cut-offs for OBG are usually closed within the top 10,000–12,000 ranks. The realistic option for you would be to check private colleges in Telangana through state quota counselling or opt for deemed universities, though the fee structure there is on the higher side. If you want only government colleges, then you may need to look at alternative clinical branches like Anaesthesia or Pathology which are slightly less competitive.

Surgical seats under DNB are always in high demand and are taken early in counselling.
