The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) opened the Round 2 option entry link on 4 August 2025. You can log in using your CET number on the official KEA website and change your preferences till 7 August 2025. Since you completed your Diploma in ECE in 2007 in Andhra Pradesh, you are already considered a diploma holder. If you want to continue your education now, you have options like:

• Join B.Tech through lateral entry (you can join directly in 2nd year).

• Do certification courses in electronics or related fields.

• Apply for government or private jobs that accept diploma holders.

If you meant that you did not complete your diploma and want to finish it now, you can contact your polytechnic college or the SBTET (State Board of Technical Education and Training), AP to check rejoining or reappearing options. They may guide you on how to complete the course after a long gap.

If you scored 287 marks in NEET 2025 and belong to the OBC-NCL category, it will be very difficult to get admission in a government BAMS college. Most government BAMS colleges need at least 450 to 500 marks for OBC category students.

With 287 marks, your chances are better in private BAMS colleges. Some private colleges may accept students with marks between 250 and 380, especially under the management quota or in states with lower competition.

If you want to become a teacher, doing B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is a good choice. Now the question is, whether it is better to do B.Ed after graduation or after post-graduation (master’s degree).
