i have a number of 4.4 means i am not eligible for afmc

Deepthi Pradeep 23rd Aug, 2025

Unfortunately, with a NEET score of only 4.4 marks , admission to AFMC Pune (MBBS) isn’t possible. AFMC’s cutoffs are quite high. For instance, in 2024, the NEET cutoffs (minimum qualifying marks recognized for AFMC screening) were around 656/720 for boys and 675/720 for girls (https://www.pw.live/neet/exams/afmc-neet-cut-off-2024?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

That means you would need a significantly higher score — typically in the 600+ range — to be considered for AFMC admission.

I am an fmge student with EWS and I am from AP state. I got neetpg rank 86551. I want colleges which accept my rank. I want psychiatry as my branch. So, I want to know which colleges will accept my rank and their fee

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 20th Aug, 2025

With NEET PG rank 86,551, MD Psychiatry in government colleges is very unlikely, but you have reasonable chances in private or deemed universities such as JSS Mysore, S.D. Urs Kolar, or MGM Aurangabad, which have witnessed Psychiatry closing ranks in the 50,000–55,000 range; these institutes typically charge 10–25 lakh annually.

i got 414 marks in PG neet 2025 and UR category can i get MS ortho in india

Abhi sonkar 21st Aug, 2025

Good afternoon with a NEET PG score of 414, getting MS Orthopedics in a government college under All India Quota (AIQ) for the General category is highly unlikely, as the expected cutoff for MS Ortho in 2025 is around 490–497 out of 800.

What Are Your Options? State Quota (if applicable)

Private medical colleges

Deemed universities

State government colleges (reserved seats)

DNB Orthopedics

DNB (Diplomate of National Board) programs in Orthopedics are a strong alternative. With 414, you can target:

Mid-tier private hospitals

Some government-affiliated DNB institutes

Rural or semi-urban setups with good hands-on exposure

Management Quota

If budget permits, private colleges under management quota may offer MS Ortho seats at this score.

What You Can Do Now

Track MCC and state counselling rounds closely.

Explore DNB options—I can help shortlist hospitals with good surgical exposure.

Consider backup branches like MS ENT, MS Ophthalmology, or MD Anaesthesia, which may be available at this score.

Spot admission date 2025 last date eppudu sir

Deepthi Pradeep 23rd Aug, 2025

If your question is about when the spot admission (mop-up round) occurs after the main counselling process, here's what typically happens in many university and state-level admission scenarios:

  • Institutions often conduct spot admissions in late August , following the initial admission rounds and based on the availability of leftover or vacant seats.

  • For instance, Cotton University conducted its spot admission in late July this year, and Delhi University began spot selections from August 25 to 27 , with fee confirmation by August 30 .

Since dates vary by state and institution, it's best to check the official website or counselling portal of the college or authority conducting your admission process.

I got 482 rank in ts pgecet, will i get seat in KU university and also I need the colleges Im more likely to get. I belong to oc general category

Nikita shahi 20th Aug, 2025

Hi,

With 482 rank in TS PGECET (General category), your chances in top branches at Kakatiya University (KU) Warangal are moderate because seats fill fast for Computer Science and ECE. However, for allied branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical, you stand a fair chance.

Colleges you can expect with this rank:

  • Kakatiya University, Warangal
  • JNTU Sultanpur
  • University College of Engineering, Kothagudem
  • Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering, Hyderabad
  • CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad
