I dont know what to do after 12th mhtcet I can do btech or b pharm im confused

gopi 21st May, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

It's normal to sense confusion after 12th with two good options like B.Tech and B.Pharm. Let me help you analyze this situation:

  1. B.Tech path is a good fit if you are more into physics, math, and technology. B.Tech shows a career path in engineering, software, electronics, mechanical, and so on. You will find more opportunities in the tech industry and a higher level in M.Tech, MBA, or MS.
  2. B.Pharm path is good if you are interested in chemistry, biology, or the health care sector. B.Pharm would lead to career paths in pharmaceuticals, research, and even to government jobs related to the safety and regulation of drugs. You may also drive forward to M.Pharm or Pharm.D at a later time.

Consider your strengths and interests and look at where you can see yourself for 5–10 years. Do not take a decision based on what your friends are doing—choose the option that fits you the best.

Can I do 1 year of diploma and write Ts Ecet to get admission in B teach 2nd year?

kumardurgesh1802 21st May, 2025

Hello there,

No, generally you cannot do a 1-year diploma and then directly write TS ECET to get admission into the 2nd year of B.Tech.

Here's why, according to the standard eligibility criteria for TS ECET:

  • Required Qualification: To be eligible for TS ECET (and lateral entry into B.Tech 2nd year), you must have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, or any other equivalent diploma recognized by the Government.

  • Minimum Marks: You also need to have secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in your Diploma.

A 1-year diploma typically does not fulfill the requirement of a full 3-year diploma course. The lateral entry scheme is designed for students who have completed the full foundational engineering knowledge provided by a standard 3-year diploma.

Therefore, to be eligible for TS ECET, you would need to complete a full 3-year diploma program first.

I want to get addmission for diploma in mechnical enginerring

Saurabh Yadav 27th May, 2025

Hii,

Check the colleges or polytechnic institutions in your area that offer mechanical engineering diploma programs if you wish to be admitted. You must have passed your 10th grade (or its equivalent) from an accredited board in order to enroll in the majority of diploma programs. You might have to fill out the admission form in person or online.

Some universities might require an entrance exam or admit students based on their grades. After applying, make sure you have all of your paperwork ready, including your birth certificate, photo ID, and 10th grade transcript. For updates, stay in contact with the college. I wish you luck!
