Hello,
Scoring 266 marks in NEET 2025 under the SC category is above the qualifying cutoff. So, you will most likely qualify NEET.
But this score is not enough to get a government MBBS seat, especially through All India Quota. For SC category, the cut-off for government colleges usually goes much higher, around 500+ marks.
With 266 marks, you can try for private medical colleges, deemed universities, or BDS courses. Also, check your state quota cut-off, as some states may have lower cut-offs.
Hope it helps !
Dear Candidate , You can pursue a B. SC in Aerospace or related fields in a government college without appearing for JEE or CUET by applying to state University or government aided institutions that offer admissions based on Class 12 marks or conduct their own entrance exams . To apply , check the official websites of such institutions during the admission season( usually June - July ) and ensure you meet their eligibility criteria.
If you take a diploma after 10th and then do B.Tech through lateral entry, a 2-year gap won’t create big problems in placements. Many students follow this path successfully. What matters most is your skills, knowledge, and attitude during college. Work hard, learn well, and do internships to improve your chances. Just stay confident and focused. Employers care more about what you can do than small gaps in education.
If you did not write the POLYCET exam, it is not possible to get admission in government diploma colleges. But don’t worry — you can still join some private diploma colleges without POLYCET. Many private colleges give admission through management quota. Visit nearby private colleges, ask about direct admission, and choose a good course like D-Pharmacy, Agriculture, or Veterinary if you are from the MBiPC stream. Also, think about repeating POLYCET next year if you want a better option.
To get admission in BPT or B.Sc. Nursing with NEET 2025 marks, you need to pass 12th with PCB and English, and meet minimum marks (usually 50%). Some colleges use NEET scores; others consider 12th marks.
Upcoming exams for PCB students:
IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) for science courses
NEST for M.Sc. programs
ICAR AIEEA for agriculture courses
BV-ABOP CET for B.Sc. Biotechnology
Hi! Yes, males are allowed to study BSc Nursing in most colleges. Nursing is a good career for both men and women. With a NEET 2025 score of 420, getting MBBS in a government college in India is tough, but you might get BDS in some government colleges depending on your category and state. If you're open to studying MBBS abroad, it can be a good option, especially in countries like Russia, Georgia, or the Philippines. Just make sure the college is NMC-approved. Choose based on your budget, interest, and long-term goals. Both paths can lead to a good medical career.
hi,
With an OBC category rank of 487, your chances of getting a government seat in Oral Pathology depend on the state you belong to, the number of available seats in that quota, and last year’s cutoffs.
In many states, especially in South India, Oral Pathology seats in government dental colleges tend to go up to ranks around 500–700 in OBC. So, with a 487 rank, you do stand a decent chance, particularly if you belong to a state where more seats are available or where demand is slightly lower for this specialization.
Still, keep an eye on the counseling rounds and choice filling carefully. If you’re open to slightly less popular government colleges, your chances improve further. But if competition is very tight in your state, it might be borderline.

With an AIQ rank of 1188 in NEET MDS 2025, getting a government seat is unlikely, especially if you are in the General category. Usually, government seats go to candidates with ranks below 1000. However, you can try private or deemed universities where seats may be available for your rank. Look for different specializations and colleges to increase your chances of admission.
