Do we get the same midterm paper all over the karnataka or wht..like tell me the major differences..?

Prachi Kumari 13th Oct, 2025

Hello,

No, the midterm exam papers are not exactly the same all over Karnataka .

The syllabus, pattern, and blueprint are common for all schools under the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB). But the question papers can differ from one district or school to another.

Here are the main points:

  • The syllabus and marks distribution are the same everywhere.

  • Some districts or schools prepare their own papers based on the same syllabus.

  • The difficulty level and exact questions may vary slightly.

  • The medium of instruction (Kannada, English, etc.) also changes the paper.

So, the midterm exams follow the same syllabus and format, but the question papers are not identical across the whole state.

Hope it helps !
