Direct admission for phd in history

Rajeswari Dey 1st Jun, 2025

Hi aspirant,

Direct admission to a PhD in History without an entrance exam is not a common practice in most reputable Indian colleges .

  1. Even with entrance test scores, an interview or viva voce is nearly always part of the selection process.
  2. Some schools may provide "direct mode" admissions to specific types of candidates, such as those who have already received national fellowships or are externally supported for their PhD.
  3. It is recommended to directly contact the colleges/universities you are interested in for latest and up-to-date information regarding the same.

All the best!

Direct admission for phd in history

SEJAL JAIN 31st May, 2025

Hello

Direct admission to a PhD in History typically requires a strong academic background, usually a Master’s degree in History or a related field.

Some universities may offer integrated PhD programs for exceptional undergraduates.

Admission is based on academic performance, research proposal, and entrance exams/interviews. Candidates should demonstrate research aptitude and subject knowledge. Publications or relevant work experience can strengthen the application.

Language proficiency (like TOEFL/IELTS) may be required for international students. Check individual university websites for specific criteria and deadlines.

Scholarships or fellowships may be available based on merit or need.

Sir MHT cet me 60 marks pr college milega kya Pune me

Kishan Bhakat 31st May, 2025

hi,

if you scored 60 marks in MHT CET 2025, getting a college in Pune is possible, but it depends on your category (General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.) and the branch you're targeting.

For reserved categories, you might have a chance in some private colleges or government-aided institutes with lower cutoffs in Pune. However, for General category students, it may be difficult to get into top colleges with 60 marks.

You should still participate in all CAP rounds, keep your options open, and include as many colleges as possible in your preference list. Also, keep an eye on institute-level and management quota seats for better chances.

I got 98.541 percentile in SAAT. What rank will I get and will I get CSE core or specialization in ITER SOA?

sadafreen356 31st May, 2025

With a SAAT percentile of 98.541, you can expect a rank between 12,000 and 17,000. This is a good score, and you have a strong chance of getting CSE in ITER SOA, particularly if you are in a reserved category (SC or ST).

Elaboration:

Rank Prediction:

A 98.541 percentile generally translates to a rank between 12,000 and 17,000 in SAAT.

ITER SOA Admission:

Given your percentile, you should be able to secure a seat in ITER SOA.

CSE Core or Specialization:

With your rank and a strong score, you have a good chance of getting CSE (Computer Science Engineering) either in its core or in a specialized area. However, the specific specialization you get may depend on your preferences and the available seats in your category.

Category Matters:

If you are in a reserved category (SC/ST), you might have a slightly higher chance of getting your preferred branch (CSE) within ITER SOA.

Check Last Year's Cutoffs:

Refer to the previous year's SAAT cutoffs to get a better idea of the rank and percentile ranges required for CSE and other branches at ITER SOA.

got 80 marks in mht cet in 21st april, session 1, how much percentile can expect, pls guide

Tanisha chaudhary 31st May, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

  • If you scored 80 marks in MHT CET 2025 (April 21, Session 1), you’re probably looking at a percentile in the range of about 85 to 88.
  • Based on recent trends, students in the 75–80 marks bracket usually end up with a percentile around 80–85, while those with 80–85 marks tend to see percentiles closer to 85–88.
  • That said, these numbers can shift a bit depending on how tough the exam was this year and the normalization process.
  • So, the exact percentile might vary, but this should give you a reasonable estimate.

Hello sir my name is Rituraj mishra , can you please tell me something about diploma of mechanical engineer fee structure ,placement, admission and faculties about this .

Samriddha Pal 31st May, 2025

Hello,

A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a 3-year technical program that teaches the basics of designing, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical systems. It's usually pursued after Class 10 or 12.

Fee Structure

The fees vary by institute type (government vs private) and state:

  • Government Polytechnic Colleges: Rs 5,000 to Rs15,000 per year
  • Private Polytechnic Colleges: Rs 25,000 to Rs 80,000 per year

Some colleges charge additional fees for labs, uniforms, exams, etc. Scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC and economically weaker students.

Admission Process

1. Eligibility:

  • Class 10 pass (minimum 35%-50%)
  • Some institutes also accept Class 12 students directly into 2nd year (lateral entry)

2. Admission Methods:

  • Entrance exams like:
  • Delhi CET, JEECUP (Uttar Pradesh), TNEA, AP POLYCET, Maharashtra DTE, etc.
  • Merit-based admission in some states or private colleges

In top government polytechnic colleges, most faculty members are B.Tech/M.Tech graduates, often with teaching experience or industry exposure. Private colleges can vary — reputed ones have good faculty, but some may lack experienced staff. Always check college reviews or visit campus if possible.

Hope this helps. All the best!
