I want to know bsc nursing entrance exam if I am not from uttarakhand and dont study also dont have domicile of uk so can i get government seat if I score 78

Nikita shahi 9th Jul, 2025

Hii,

If you are trying to take admission into BSc Nursing in Uttarakhand and have scored 78 marks in the entrance exam conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical University ( HNBUMU). You need to understand how the seat allotment system works, in government colleges

In these exams, anyone from any state can appear for the exam. The eligibility for government quota seats for BSc nursing in Uttarakhand is restricted mainly to candidates who:Have a domicile certificate of Uttarakhand, or have completed their higher schooling in Uttarakhand. If you do not come under any two  of these criteria, you are generally not eligible for government seats. These seats are reserved for Uttarakhand residents as per the state government policy.

Now coming to your score — as you scored 78 marks, whether or not you will  get admission depends on:

The cut-off marks of that year (which changes every year  depending on the competition and difficulty of the paper),from which category you belongs  (General/OBC/SC/ST),The number of applicants, the seat availability in government colleges of Uttarakhand .like  you said you don't have a domicile certificate, your application will be  likely to be considered under the management quota or general category for private colleges. Some private nursing colleges in Uttarakhand accept non-domicile students also  based on their merit and seat availability. You can might have a chance there If you apply in the private colleges.

You should also keep tracking on state counselling rounds and check the official HNBUMU website regularly for updates. If you are from another state, also try to  applying in your own state’s nursing counselling or appear for national-level exams like AIIMS BSc Nursing, JIPMER,Afmc Pune  or other institutes where domicile certificate is not required.

According to me Without a Uttarakhand domicile, it’s nearly tough to get a government seat even with 78 marks. But you can try private colleges in the state or apply in your own state for better chances

All the best for your nursing journey!

Hello Sir,

Thanks for reaching out

With the mentioned NEET score and rank under OC category getting a government BDS seat in Telengana is quite unlikely sir as the cutoff for OC is usually higher.

However ,admission is possible in private dental colleges under the management quota fees may range from 10 - 15 lakhs.

Hello

Yes , with 370 NEET marks and OBC 2A reservation , you may have a chance to get a BVSc (Veterinary Science) seat in Karnataka government or aided veterinary colleges through KEA counselling, specially in the 2nd or 3rd round (including extended rounds).

Possible Colleges you may get a seat (cut-offs vary slightly each year):

1. Veterinary College, Hassan

3. Veterinary College, Bidar

4. Veterinary College, Gadag

Last year cutoff of bsc nursing

preeti kataria 13th Jul, 2025

Yes if you are from ST category and you take admission in IIIT Sonepat then you do not have to pay tuition fees because government gives full tuition fee waiver to SC and ST students under scholarship scheme this means the big amount which is called tuition fee around sixty two thousand five hundred rupees per semester is free for ST students but you still have to pay some small fees like exam fees registration fees hostel fees mess fees and development fees these are called other charges and every student has to pay them so your total fee will not be zero but it will be much less than others like you may have to pay only fifteen thousand or twenty thousand or more depending on hostel and food if you apply for top class scholarship then you may also get money for books laptop and living but this scholarship is only for students whose family income is less than six lakh rupees per year and you have to show your ST certificate income certificate and some ID proof and bank details when you apply you can fill the scholarship form online on national scholarship portal and after that your college will help you to submit the form and get your tuition fees removed so remember you do not have to pay tuition fees but you still have to pay other small charges and hostel if you are living in hostel so before joining IIIT Sonepat you must contact the scholarship department or college office and ask them clearly what documents are needed and when to apply if you do everything on time then you will not face any problem and your studies will go smooth and you can save lots of money and focus on learning and building your future this is how ST students get fee benefit in IIIT Sonepat

Sir I have scored 452 in neet 2025 and I belongs to Andhra Pradesh can I get a mbbs seat either in the last private medical clg

Mitali Sharma 9th Jul, 2025

Hello

With an AIR of 452 , you can confidently aim for one of the best government MBBS colleges , either under All India Quota or Andhra Pradesh State Quota .

In the state quota , private MBBS colleges in Andhra Pradesh have closing ranks from around 60,000 to over 100,000 for management quota seats .

Even private institutions like Alluri Sitaram Raju Academy of Medical Sciences, Narayana Medical College and NRI Medical College have closing ranks in the 100,000+ range  .

With a rank of 452, you are not just eligible but you are competitive for seats in the very top government colleges under both state and All India quotas.

Top Government MBBS Colleges through Andhra Pradesh State Quota (85%).

Also eligible for All India Quota (15%) in top colleges across India.

Private Medical Colleges :

Seats will definitely be available but not needed unless you prefer them. colleges you can get:

Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam
