For NEET 2025, candidates applying under the Kashmiri Migrant quota in the General category typically require a score in the range of 330 to 380 to be considered for MBBS seats. In past years, some admissions under this quota have been secured with scores around 340, especially in the later rounds of counselling.
However, to increase your chances of admission, especially in more competitive colleges or in Delhi, it is advisable to aim for a score of 380 or higher. A score of 400 or above would place you in a stronger position across most colleges that accept candidates under the Kashmiri Migrant quota.
This quota generally offers some relaxation compared to the open General category cutoffs, which often exceed 600 marks, particularly for top government medical colleges.
Ahmedabad offers quality education for B.Pharm and BDS. Institutes like Nirma University, L.J. Institute, and Ahmedabad Dental College provide good faculty, labs, and placements. Admission is through GUJCET/NEET. The city is student-friendly with low living costs and good career scope.
With 403 marks in NEET (AIR 204962), EWS, MP domicile, and female quota, you may get BHMS/BAMS in private colleges easily. Govt BAMS is possible in later rounds. Govt BDS is tough, but private BDS under management/EWS quota is possible. Apply in MP state counseling.

Hello,
With a NEET score of 406, it is highly unlikely to get admission in a private MBBS college in Madhya Pradesh under the general category. The closing scores for these colleges range from about 558 to 612+.
You may consider:
1. Looking at colleges in other states with lower cut-offs for outsiders.
2. Exploring government medical colleges in Chhattisgarh under your domicile.
3. Considering MBBS abroad (e.g., Russia, China) where lower scores may be accepted.
4. Thinking about other medical-related degrees like BSc Nursing or BAMS.
Fill in choices broadly and explore other options for a better chance.
Hope it helps !
Your friend's daughter studied 6th to 10th class in Andhra Pradesh and studied Intermediate (11th and 12th) in Tamil Nadu. She wrote the NEET exam from Andhra Pradesh and scored 510 marks in NEET 2025.
According to Andhra Pradesh state rules, if a student studies 4 continuous years in Andhra Pradesh before completing the qualifying exam, then they are considered a local candidate.
Since she studied from 6th to 10th in Andhra Pradesh, which is 5 years, she is a local student of Andhra Pradesh, even though she studied 11th and 12th in Tamil Nadu.
So, she is not a non-local. She is a local candidate for Andhra Pradesh.
