Hi Nidhi,

For the SSC CGL form, your passing year should be the year when you completed all requirements for your graduation, including clearing any backlogs. Since you cleared your backlog in 2023 and your final marksheet date is June 24, 2024, you should mention 2024 as your passing year

If you do not see "General" category option in additional category section during registration you should typically select "Unreserved" (UR) or any similar term that denotes the general category.

You can indeed appear for the SSC CGL exam multiple times as long as you meet the age limit and eligibility criteria.
