Hello Aspirant,
If you scored 49 out of 100 with a rank of 4307 in the B.Sc Nursing entrance exam, you have a moderate chance of admission depending upon your category (General/OBC/SC/ST), state/university applied under, and seats available during the current academic year. If a government college is what you are looking for, that could be difficult for the general category at that rank, but you may still get you a seat in a private college or self-financed institution. The best thing to do is to check the previous year cutoff trends, be alert in the counseling process — and wait. There are often seats that open up later in the process.

Hello,
If you’ve cleared NEET 2025 and want to take admission in MBBS, then understanding the counselling process is very important. There are two types of counselling – All India Quota (AIQ), which is done by MCC, and State Quota, which is conducted by individual state authorities from the state you belong to.
In AIQ counselling, 15% government medical seats and all seats in deemed universities are filled. You need to register on the MCC official website once the schedule is out. For state quota seats (85%), visit your respective state's counselling portal.Make sure you have your NEET scorecard, documents, and category certificates ready. Also, check previous year cutoffs to get an idea of the colleges you can target. And also be careful while filling choices and always keep some backup options.

All the best!
For NEET 2025, candidates applying under the Kashmiri Migrant quota in the General category typically require a score in the range of 330 to 380 to be considered for MBBS seats. In past years, some admissions under this quota have been secured with scores around 340, especially in the later rounds of counselling.
However, to increase your chances of admission, especially in more competitive colleges or in Delhi, it is advisable to aim for a score of 380 or higher. A score of 400 or above would place you in a stronger position across most colleges that accept candidates under the Kashmiri Migrant quota.
This quota generally offers some relaxation compared to the open General category cutoffs, which often exceed 600 marks, particularly for top government medical colleges.
Hello Aayushi,
Thanks for reaching out!
with 434 marks and AIR 148104 in NEET 2025,it's difficult to get an MBBS seat in Govt college for a general Delhi candidate,as cut-offs are much higher , Private or deemed universities might be possible but fees are higher.
For BDS,you might have a chance in private colleges though cut-offs range from 440-500 plus you've very limited options in Delhi due to high competition.
If you're open to nearby options you may get a chance here:
IDST dental college,Modinagar
Inderprastha Dental college, Ghaziabad
Santhosh Dental college, Ghaziabad
You can also explore courses like BAMS,BHMS,BPT with lower cutoffs and good careers.
Join counselling and keep an eye on final rounds of allotment for possible BDS seats.
