With a rank of 1323 in AP PGECET 2025, you have very low chance of getting a seat for M.Pharmacy in drug regulatory affairs course in top government colleges.

But it is possible to get a seat in low ranked colleges and self-financed institutions.

My CUET english is 77 percentile (134 marks) and GAT is 88 percentile (96 marks). Will I get any integrated MA courses in University of Hyderabad or MA SEAL course in pondicherry? I am applying for CUK and CUTN. I am from the OBC category. Which are the possible central institutions with good placement?

Nikita shahi 24th Jul, 2025

Hii,

With a 77 percentile in English and 88 percentile in GAT, your marks is actually quite decent especially since you belong to the OBC category. These scores can definitely give you an edge in some central universities. Now, when it comes to the University of Hyderabad, it’s true that the cutoffs are usually quite high, especially for popular courses. So yes, it can be a bit competitive there.

As for CUK (Kalaburagi) and CUTN (Tiruvarur), their cutoffs tend to be a bit more flexible. Based on your percentile, your chances of getting a seat there are much stronger. Among the two, CUTN is steadily improving in terms of placements, especially in the humanities and social sciences streams. On the other hand, Hyderabad University has one of the best reputations and placement records among central universities.

Just make sure to regularly check their official websites for counselling dates, application deadlines, and updates.

All the best!

If Im having backolg in diploma andhra pradesh what can I do next

Chelsie G 23rd Jul, 2025

If you have a backlog in your diploma in Andhra Pradesh, don't worry there are several ways forward:

  • First, clear the backlog by reappearing for the exam. You need to pass all subjects to complete your diploma and move ahead smoothly.
  • If clearing it this year isn't possible, consider applying for supplementary exams or improvement exams offered by your board or university. Check the dates and register before deadlines.
  • Once you finish your diploma (even with a delayed result), you can apply for lateral entry into 2nd year B.Tech or B.E. through JEECAP. Just ensure you clear the backlog before admission.
  • As a temporary alternative, look for internship or part time ITI training while you wait to clear the backlog. This keeps your skills active.
  • Stay in touch with your training board or college's exam cell to know when the backlog exam forms and results will be available.

focus on passing the backlog as soon as possible, then decide if you want to continue into an engineering degree or start working and training in your field. Clear the backlog that’s the first step.

Hello sir! I m pursued my 12 in the 23-24 but in chemistry my compartment arrived then i take one year drop now i wanna do 12 again How can i do

Prachi Kumari 23rd Jul, 2025

Hello,

Do do 12th again, you have two options:

  1. Repeat 12th as a regular student – Take admission again in a school or open board like NIOS and study the full year.

  2. Appear as a private candidate – If your board allows, you can give the exams again next year without attending regular school.

If you had a compartment, you can also apply for the compartment exam or improvement exam , depending on your board’s rules.

Hope it helps !

Will I be able to get admission with a score of 127 in msc zoology aupgat allahabad university entrance exam obc category in allahabad university ?

Nikita shahi 23rd Jul, 2025

A score of 127 in the AUPGAT entrance exam for MSc Zoology, combined with your OBC category, gives you a decent chance of getting into Allahabad University. The cut-offs vary each year, depending on the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability. In recent years, candidates in the OBC category have managed admission with scores slightly above 120, so you’re definitely in the safe or borderline zone. However, your actual admission will depend on your Category rank in the final merit list, number of seats reserved for OBC candidates and the rounds of counselling.

You should definitely participate in the counselling process, keep your documents ready like your mark sheets, caste certificate, AUPGAT scorecard, ID, etc.Even if you don’t get a seat in the first round, don’t lose hope many students secure seats in later rounds.

Wishing you all the best!

Its polytechnic college or Engineering college

Nikita shahi 23rd Jul, 2025

Thanks for your question it’s a really common doubt. Here’s the basic difference:

Polytechnic College offers diploma courses after Class 10 or 12 in technical subjects like mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.

Where as Engineering College provides full B.Tech/B.E. degrees, usually after clearing entrance exams like JEE, CET, or state-level tests.

Polytechnic courses are generally 3 years long and are more practical in nature. After completing a diploma, many students also go for lateral entry into B.Tech in the second year, which is a nice shortcut into engineering with solid fundamentals.

Hope this clears things up for you!
