As you have got 74% in 12th board,it is not a bad score but along with this score you also have to be appear in the entrance exam of the VIT university on the basis of which it gives admission in different campuses of VIT university.If your rank is more than 2k then there are the less chances of getting any seat in vit,because maximum rank to apply for VIT is nearly less than 40k.But if you are interested in that college definitely you can apply for any seat in all the campuses of VIT. Otherwise you can choose any other college which he can get easily with this rank.
