Hello,
The value you are asking for changes every year. But as a basic idea you should aim for around 75+ together a rank of 200.

For Jee mains, both cengage and arihant books are good. The main preparation depends on ones level of dedication and hard work. Go through both the books and choose the one you are comfortable with.
