With a NEET score of 142, it's highly unlikely to secure an MBBS seat in either a private or deemed university for the general category. The cutoffs for MBBS, even in private and deemed institutions, generally require scores significantly higher than 142. While some private colleges might have lower cutoffs in management quotas, 142 is likely below even those relaxed thresholds.

Hello aspirant,
With 142 marks in NEET under the General category, MBBS admission in private or deemed universities is not possible, as you are likely below the NEET qualifying cutoff for General (which is usually around 137–138 marks or even higher). Even under management or NRI quota, NEET qualification is mandatory as per NMC rules.

If you qualify NEET but just barely, you still won’t be eligible for MBBS in deemed universities since their cutoffs are generally much higher—even for the lowest management quota seats. Your score is too low for MBBS, but you can consider courses like BAMS, BHMS, BPT, or paramedical degrees, where the cutoff is lower and seats may be available in private institutes.
