The beauty of studying MBA is that it doesn't need a prior educational equivalence or for that matter any specialisation in Bachelor's degree. You can study MBA after pursuing Bachelor's degree in any specialisation. Because you come with a clean slate, studying MBA is not at all difficult, Infact HR specialisation is one of the easiest and one of the streams that has better scopes. If you are approachable, do not shy away from taking responsibilities and are eager to solve problems, then HR is for you. There are quite a few Entrance examinations for MBA in India. Few of them are:

CAT: CAT is an online examination of 3 hours duration. To be eligible for CAT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories.

MAT: To be eligible for MAT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline. There is no minimum aggregate criteria.

IIFT: To be eligible for IIFT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories.

SNAP: To be eligible for SNAP, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories.

NMAT: To be eligible for NMAT, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years work experience are preferred.

You should have to appear the the entrance examinations like CAT, XAT and CMAT. Every institutes demand different examinations so I gave you almost the every name. So prepare well for this examination then you can do well in the examinations and also can study the course well. The syllabus for all the exams are not same but there is the same topics and those are ,

  • Logical and Verbal Reasoning
  • Data Interpretation.
  • Vocabulary and Grammar.
  • G K .

Mat is little bit easier than CAT so if you prepare for CAT then it will cover the syllabus for all the examinations.

Here I am giving the names of some books and that can help you in the preparation.

  • R. Gupta's MBA Entrance Examination Guide.
