Hi Divya,

To get into IIT M.Sc. Biology, you need to give JAM.

JAM also known as the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc Programmes is an entrance exam conducted for the admission to the postgraduate science programmes offered in 20 IITs and IISc Bangalore.

It's application filling start around October. You need to fulfil its eligibility Criteria. As per the eligibility criteria released, candidates belonging to the general category must have a minimum of 55 per cent or 5.5 aggregate out of 10 in their qualifying degree examination. Candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/) must score a minimum of 50 per cent marks or 5.0 out of 10 aggregate in the qualifying examination.

After the results are out, a counselling is held and the students are allocated seats on the basis of their merit.
