I feel that for JEE Mains, there is absolutely no need to study anything apart from your NCERT / CBSE topics of class 11 and 12 as well as a lot of practice from your mock test papers and past year question papers. But, it will also be very useful to also have backup preparation from JEE Advanced also. This preparation will also be very useful in getting high marks in JEE Mains. After all, this is more important to get admission in most colleges in India apart from BITS and the IITs.
But, for JEE Advanced, it is imperative to study all these major books for PCM. Hope this helps you and all the best!
