JIPMER will no longer conduct its own medical entrance examination. If you want to join MBBS in JIPMER, you have to write NEET exam. JIPMER has 2 branches. The first one is in Puducherry and the new one is in Karaikal. Apart from all the regular departments that a Medical College would have, JIPMER also has a Cancer Research Center in its campus and Transplantation services as well. The Institution is spread over 192 acres accomodating Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Nursing courses. Now coming to the salary part, after completion of MBBS, you can work as a Doctor in various clinical settings.
