Dear aspirant

The programme (applied mathematics ) offers an environment where you can specialize in modern mathematical techniques, working closely with other academic disciplines such as physics, (industrial) engineering, logistics and computer science. You will be considered a junior member of the research department and actively participate in your supervisor’s research programme.

*****Applied mathematics distinguishes itself from pure mathematics in that it draws inspiration for its own development from interaction with related fields such as physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology, economics and computer science, to name but a few.

Pure mathematics :----
In simple words, mathematics deals with study of numbers and their various calculations. The most important skills in mathematics are careful analysis and reasoning, and thus logic is the floor on which the structure of mathematics is built.
