Hello..

Taking admission before 2016 in Indian medical college was based on the scores for non-residents, person of Indian origin and overseas citizens. But with the interception of the Supreme Court, the foreign residents have to compete with the indigenous aspirants in the NEET exam.

Dear aspirant,

According to your query,

Earlier before 2916, there was not any quota for OCI/PIO/NRIs. But since 2017-18 there is made a quota of 15% for these categories in which OCI card holders or NRIs can give NEET UG exams on 15% all india quota or management seats reserved for that particular college in that state.  For that you don't need to become domicle of that state.

Hope you find it useful.

Thank you.
