MBBS Stands for Bachelors in Medicine and Bachelors in Surgery. A person with MBBS degree becomes a doctor and a prefix Dr. is added to his name.
MBBS is a 4.5 years long course and to get the degree 1 needs to complete 1 year rotatory internship after 4.5 years of the study. So in total it takes 5.5 years to complete your degree.
To get admission into this course one needs to appear in NEET UG exam after his class 12th examination. So after class 10th one has to study physics, chemistry , biology/ biotechnology as main subjects along with english in class 11th and 12th.
