Hi. In order to become an anesthesiologist, you will first have to complete 5.5 years of MBBS after you clear NEET-UG. After this (and  successfully passing NEXT), you will have to appear for NEET-PG examination. Once you are through with that and get a post graduate seat in anesthesiology, only then can you become an anesthesiologist.

When you pursue BSc Anesthesia, you will have the following career options:

  • Anaesthesia Technician
  • Medical Consultant
  • Clinical Associate
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anaesthetist
  • Anaesthesiologist Assistant
