6906 rank UR to get an anesthesia branch in inicet open allotment in July 2025

Nikita shahi 28th Jul, 2025

Hi Aiswarya!

A rank of 6906 in the Unreserved category in INI-CET puts you in a decent position, but getting a seat in Anesthesia will depend on how the cutoff moves during open allotment. In previous years, some AIIMS campuses like Bhopal, Rishikesh, and Raipur have shown Anesthesia seat openings up to around 6000–7500 ranks in open rounds. So yes, you might have a chance, especially in other campuses. Keep your documents ready, watch out for vacancy reports and don’t miss the mop-up counseling.

For a rank of 6906 in inicet july 2025 what are the chances of getting a clinical branch in spot allotment. And which branches are likely to get ? Anesthesia or radiation oncology which hold more chance ?

Abhilasha Agrawal 25th Jul, 2025

With a 6,906 INI CET rank, you are well beyond the closing rank thresholds for both Anaesthesiology (≈1,000 AIR) and Radiation Oncology (≈300–500 AIR) in clinical branches. Unfortunately, securing either specialty in spot allotment is highly unlikely.

Can I get bsc in anesthesia how to get addmission into this

Nikita shahi 19th Jul, 2025

Hii,

Yes, you can pursue a B.Sc. in Anesthesia if you have completed your 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. This is a specialized medical course where you will be trained to assist doctors and anesthesiologists during surgeries by handling anesthesia equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring safe administration of anesthesia. The eligibility for most colleges is quite simple. You need to have passed Class 12 with PCB and secured at least 50% marks, though some private colleges may accept students with slightly lower marks. The admission process varies from institute to institute. Many colleges and universities offer admission based on your 12th marks , while some top institutions conduct  their own entrance exams. A few colleges like AIIMS or JIPMER may consider NEET-UG scores for admission to allied medical science programs, including anesthesia. Private universities like Manipal  also have their own entrance exams.

This course can be done in both government and private colleges before applying you can check official website of the college.
