D Pharmacy is a year Diploma Degree and for appearing for UPSC, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum duration of 3 years. It can be B.Sc or BA. But it cannot be Diploma course. So if UPSC is your goal, you should pursue atleast a 3 year Bachelor's degree.
