Dear Student ,

No , After doing B.Tech in Food Technology, you're not eligible to appear for GATE for pursuing M.Tech in CSE .

This is because , there are certain rules about two paper giving examination in GATE :

As per your Subject (Food Technology - XL- U ) , you are eligible to give combined paper exam in GATE only for the following subjects :

Biomedical engineering
Biotechnology
Chemistry
Ecology and Evolution
