Career as a solicitor gives you enough flexibility to chose your work, timings, client base, place and fees, which may give you satisfaction in long run. However individual practice may be a bit daunting at first as you strive to make space for yourself.

If you have sufficient networking and client base , the career as solicitor can be very rewarding.

So at the end the choice depends  on your present circumstances and risk taking capability. Qualifying any career choice best remains a totally personal and subjective perception.
