Hello Aman,
As you said you are already working in insurance sector then you are already aware about all the areas in which it works mostly sales and marketing. And also you have done MA in Economics which will be of great support if you go for MBA in finance.
They both are interrelated to each other.
And also they will increase your job opportunities not only in pvt sector as well as government sector. People generally doesn't opt it because they find it difficult to understand and cope up with finance.

Where as sales and marketing are totally a different area. If you are interested in and know how to convince then you can opt that too.

But as per my suggestion mba in finance after ma in Economics will only increase your chances make you stand out in the crowd.

I hope this helps you.

All the best!!

There is not much difference between MBA and EMBA. Mba is a full 2 yesr program and Emba is a 1 year program. If it's possible for you to leave your job and do mba then go for normal mba as it would provide you with the following things:

1.Regular college
2. Specialisation
3. Wider network
4. Good exposure
5. Proper placement opportunities

Where as Emba doesn't provide as such any type of specialisation. For it a personnel shoulf have an experience of 2-5 years or more and while working you can do it. Once in a quarter you have to visit the campus. It doesn't have a wider network. It's just like adding one more feather in your hat. And if you do it from prominent colleges like ISB, top IIM, XLRI and other institutes.

At the end if you have a chance or option where you can leave your job and study then go for normal mba and there you can use your work experience which will give you an edge and if you score good and clear exams like CAT or GMAT or any other you wish for then you can do it from top colleges like IIM'S.
And if not then go for EMBA, so that while working you can attend the course.

I hope this helps you.

All the best!!
