You can definitely pursue a Biotechnology degree after your MBBS. There are many masters programs in the field of biotechnology offered by a number of Institutions. The most common of these courses is MSc in Biotechnology.

The basic eligibility criteria to apply for this course is that a candidate be a graduate in a field pertaining to biology with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

After getting your degree in biotechnology, you can practice in the field of medical as a professional on the basis of your MBBS degree while simultaneously work as a research scientist in the field of biotechnology. You can get a job in a government or a private company for the R&D sector as well as a biopharma consultant.

In summation, there are many career opportunities that you can opt for.
