What you are planning to pursue after completing msc. Zoology depends whether you want to opt for academic line or go for employment. After M.sc. zoology, if you want to pursue M.Phil, then you can do so by qualifying NET. You can also search for jobs in government and private sectors as there is a good scope. You can get employment as a conservationist, environmental consultant, herpetologist, wildlife educator, zoologist etc.
