alloted a college in round 1 AIQneet but i want to move for 2nd round. What should i do? Can i secure the seat inround1 & move for round 2?

Hello Harshita,

This is a very common doubt that many students have as they do not want to risk losing the seat that they have got.


No, you cannot secure a seat in Round-1 and go for Round-2.

You will either have to join the college allotted to you in Round-1 or you can leave that seat and go for Round-2.

You will have to forfeit the security money if you want to go for state counselling.

And you can also participate in th Mop up round.

However, if you join the allotted college in Round-1, you cannot go further in any counselling process.
