Hello, In terms of recruitment options food technology has more options than BAMS. But the number of candidates required in BAMS is higher than in food technology i.e. it means food technology has relatively more competition than BAMS doctor after graduation to get a placement. And you can also practice privately after your BAMS degree and for food technologist you can choose to work in different variants like quality manager, consultant in food processing etc. The average salary of a BAMS doctor in India is 80,000 per month while that of food technology candidate is around 40,000 per month initially and increase up to 11 lakhs per year.

Best wishes.
