Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - Chennai Campus, otherwise called Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), was established in 1994. It is one of the three Engineering schools built up in Coimbatore under the lead of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. This school has been certify with Grade 'A' by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council of India (NAAC) and has picked up endorsement from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus offers BTech (Bachelor of Technology) program at UG level in five specializations to be specific Computer Science, Civil, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. There is a newly opened campus in main chennai which is almost same as the coimbatore campus . They have been running the campus before in coimbatore but now they have a new campus.

Comming to the placements all the campus placements are same, every campus student will be coming to the coimbatore and they will be giving their interviews.It's basically a very new campus all the lab equipments are not fully equipped,the strength is not more.
