Amrita University
Hi there,
There is no such provision of getting any direct admission in btech. You have to pass your 12th exam with an overall good percentage.
After that you can opt to give jee mains or state level entrance examination to get admission in the government colleges which will be decided on the basis of your rank achieved in the examination and participation in the counselling.
So you have to give at least any one entrance examination to pursue btech from any colleges.
However you can get admission in some of the private colleges on the basis of your class 12th marks and your performance in the interview selection process if there is any. However even all private colleges do not give direct admission in btech.
Hope this resolves your query.
Hi
hope you doing well
Amrita University has multiple campuses (Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Amritapuri, etc.) and conducts admissions primarily through AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam). However, it also considers JEE Mains scores for admission.
With 84.63 percentile, you may have a chance to get admission, but securing a spot in highly sought-after branches like Computer Science (CSE) might be more competitive.
You might have better chances in branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical.
You can also go for Josaa couselling and and other state counselling for more option.

Best wishes.
Your approximate CRL rank would be around 1,20,000 to 1,30,000 acc to your jee mains score of 89.54 percentile. Based on this rank, the chances of securing a CSE seat at Amrita University, especially in their top campuses like Coimbatore, might be limited. However, for other campuses like Bengaluru and Amritapuri, you may have a higher chance.
In terms of possibility:
To improve your chances, also participate in the counseling process for AEEE, as Amrita considers both AEEE and JEE Mains scores.
Chances might be there to get a seat Amrita University at this percentile as last year the cutoff for CS Branch through JEE Main Score was around 73 percentile. To know in detail you can check your chances in some another counselling through our FREE College Predictor. All the best.
