If you have secured low rank in JEE, don't loose hope because there are colleges that provide admission to candidates at low ranks. Some of the NITs are:

NIT Manipur
NIT Goa
NIT Jalandhar
NIT Hamirpur
NIT Arunachal Pradesh

There are some private college also that provide engineering to low rank candidates. Some of them are:

Amity University
Institute of Technology, Meerut
College of Engineering, Pune
SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
Nirma University, Ahmedabad
