The cutoff for some reputed IIITs' are listed below:

• IIIT Allahabad: ~4200 last round AIR (ECE branch)
• IIIT Delhi: ~15000 AIR (Integrated branch) and ~2900 AIR (CSE main branch)
• IIIT Gwalior: last round ~10000 AIR (CSE branch)
• IIIT Lucknow: last round ~6000 AIR (IT branch)

Therefore looking at all these last year IIITs' cutoff trends, to get a seat in good IIIT and branch you should have a minimum rank between 5000-10000, t hat is you need to score more than 165 marks out of 300 in JEE Mains . Scoring better will definitely open more admission opportunities.
